Funny B was singing the song "We wish you a Merry Christmas" while I was driving her home from school. In the middle of her singing, she abruptly stopped and asked, "Mom, what's the meaning of wish?" I explained to her that "Wish is like hoping, praying for something. For example, I wish that I can buy a new car… Or I wish that I can go to Disneyland… Or I wish that I can have a new toy…" And then I asked her, "What do you wish for?" She answered without hesitation… "I wish that my mom will always love me."

err.. what about the dad
At least she knows her dad loves her, always without a doubt…
I learned in hallmark’s “children of our time” documentary that children’s confidence are better enhance by the time they spent with their father.
actually, she spends more time with her dad than I do. She’s sweeter to me and she says “I love you mom” a lot. On the other hand, she’s always “mataray” to her dad. Can’t blame her for being “mataray” since her dad teases her a lot. I guess that’s her way of showing her love to her dad. And when Saturday morning comes, she’s really sweet to her dad coz she knows its their Trinoma day.
It’s usually the mothers’, who are the children’s center, if not the closest one, in their universe… It’s lovely to read that you have such relationship with her! =)
