Digital Gear Review

Yesterday i bough the Invisible shield as im sick of my bulky acrylic case for my Iphone.

The clear acrylic case served me well but it always picked up dirt in the crevices and was bulky in my pocket the Iphone is big enough as it is.

The invisble shield is this new space age Full body casing for you digital device according to their website

"ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD™ is a thin, polyurethane film originally created for the military to protect the leading edge of helicopter blades. What's unique about this military-grade film is how tough it is - it doesn't scratch. Introduced in early 2005, the invisibleSHIELD is the first product of its kind. Its patent-pending, full body protection has revolutionized the industry and has changed the way people think of protecting their devices. Others have tried to imitate it and have fallen short.

Apart from keeping your devices scratch-free, the invisibleSHIELD provides some unexpected benefits. Unlike cases, its uncompromising design doesn't take away from the look and feel of your device. It adds no bulk, allowing you to freely hold, carry, and dock your device without interruption. Also its "grippy" feel allows you to be far less likely to drop your once slippery device. "

With military credentials like that its hard not to like this cover. If you grew up in the Philippines you most likely covered your books before taking them to school and in this effect invisible shield substitutes this in covering up your digital device against the elements.

Applying the Invisible shield is not for the novice as it took a couple of tries on my end to apply the clear film cover on my Iphone. But afterwards it seams to fit in snugly even on the sides. so like a covered up book i took my iphone to work. i must say it really does look incredible. Freeing up the iphone from its acrylic casing you get to enjoy more the device as it was designed to be free from scratches and scuff.

i would give this Invisible shield a rating of 4 out of 5 missing that 1 star due to difficulty in applying the film. If you do get one have a professional apply it. Although keep in mind settling of the film takes a full 24 hours.
