Resto Review: La Maison in Trinoma
20 May 2008
Had the chance to eat at La Maison in Trinoma with some friends last Saturday. Since there were ten of us in the group, I called ahead to make a reservation. The girl who answered the phone, Mariel, was very accommodating and really took her time to listen to my requests. And when we got there, our table was set in a more secluded part of the resto. We also added one more table and they did so without any complaint.
We ordered the Baby Back Ribs, Seafood bounty, Pepper Steak and some kind of baked scallop, etc. I really like their ribs!!! And for just P720, the serving size of their large order is good for four already, (though the waiter said it was good for 2 to 3). I also recommend the seafood bounty. It's a sampler consisting of calamari, fish, mussels, shrimp. The pepper steak though, was quite ordinary. Maybe next time we can order the steaks.
The service was also quite impressive. Our waiter (I forgot his name) was very efficient and alert. He even gave Funny B some crayons and a picture to color. Its a great place for friends and families to dine. Its not as loud and crowded as some of the restos in Trinoma. And not as expensive too!!!
