Gretchen Barreto, Tony Boy Credit Card Controversy
20 June 2008La Greta made the headlines again!!! Gretchen Barreto had dinner with some girl friends (which included Ruffa Gutierrez) at a posh resto in Dusit Hotel in Makati. And when the time came to settle the bill, Gretchen offered to pay for it. She then gave her credit card and was quite shocked when she learned that her credit card had been denied. Supposedly, she was very furious and told the manager that her card cannot be denied since they (referring to Tony Boy) owned the bank. Ruffa saved the day and paid for the meal instead. Later on, Tony Boy went to the resto and was seen having an argument with Gretchen.
In Ricky Lo's article in today's edition of Philippine Star, Gretchen made a comment about getting tired of living in Manila and will be leaving the country soon. The article also mentioned that Ruffa's card was never denied even when she was having problems with Yilmaz. Hmm… very intriguing statement… are we suppose to read between the lines? Does this mean that Gretchen's card was intentionally cancelled by Tony Boy?
