Chico and Delamar versus Mo Twister

27 August 2008

As I was listening to the radio this morning, 89.9 DJ Mo Twister was narrating how a certain radio commercial he did that was played on rival station rx 93.1 was treated by the rival DJs.  He said unsurely that either or both Chico Garcia (Frederick Lagbao in real life) and Delamar of the Morning Rush commented that the commercial was offensive.  In what way, Mo Twister did not elaborate.of

He would go on to say that commercials were "fair ground" or "level playing fields" and should not be part  of the network war.

Mo's next action was to declare "fair play" by playing an old commercial allegedly done by "chico", which he found on the internet.

Well, the sound clip was obviously an impersonation, done to make a fool of Chico, largely alluding that he was gay all throughout  the commercial.  It goes on something like riding a gay airline, all with men staff, doing gay sexual advances.  With special voice "appearance" by Delamar suggesting "coming out of the closet".

A few minutes later, there were blue eagles Chris Tiu and Jai namite as guests on the show.  Yes, I listen to both 89.9 and 93.1

There is no mention whatsover of Mo Twister and his show Good Times at Chico's blog entitled Strange Fruit. edit add: However, they uploaded the audio of the Vaklair commercial on mo's multiply site.

I think this escalates the war between the two stations dramatically. Oh it's on now!
