Sony Ericsson G900 Review
January 14, 2009 by eee

I had just purchased my very first non-Nokia phone last week. Ever since I owned a Nokia phone, I've been hesitant to switch to non-Nokia since some brands have difficult interface. After months of searching and choosing between Iphone, Sony Ericsson and LG, I finally chose SE's G900. My criteria for my buying a new phone includes touch screen capability, at least 3.2 megapixel camera/video, wifi, candybar type and most of all, within my P15,000 budget. The G900 fits all these criteria and more!
The full specs of the phone can be found in http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_g900-2247.php
Major Pros:
- 5 megapixel camera (with flash)
- wifi speed is satisfactory
- light weight at 99g only
- 2 gigabytes of M2 (memory stick)
- bluetooth
- 3g
- USB cable
Major Cons:
- short battery life (I've been using it to check my mails and facebook everyday so maybe it uses up more battery charge. I had to charge every two days).
- a bit difficult to surf using the small screen
- looks like a toy phone
- no infrared
- slightly slower when opening applications compared to my old nokia 6233
- slow start up
Overall, I give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Durable. This thing has been in my sweaty pockets, thrown around, knocked about, and its still going. That’s good in my books.
