Cheap cameras in Hidalgo Quiapo Philippines

Buying a camera here in the Philippines?   Here are some stores where you can purchase that latest digicam, parts, accessories and other such items.

Just be careful in that area.  Send someone over or go with a friend, dress down and don't act too flashy.

You'll find practically everything here. Among the more interesting things:

  • Darkroom chemicals and supplies, papers, tanks, trays, and (few)enlargers;
  • Enlargers and lenses, albeit few and far between these days;
  • Second hand curiosities like Dual Lens Reflex Bronicas, Nikon Fs, the occasional Leica, old Mamiyas and Yashicas? lots of neat stuff, in various states of wear or disrepair;
  • Camera repair shops who will clean lenses and fix mechanical;
  • All manner of films from the plain (Kodak Gold) to the slightly esoteric (Ilford 3200's), and even a few that defy categorization (lucky, colpan, etc);
  • Rechargeable batteries and their accompanying rechargers;
  • Bits and pieces–lens caps, body caps, cables, filters;
  • Tripods galore, Manfrotto and Slik among others;
  • Studio lighting, strobes and bulbs, diffusers, umbrellas, softboxes;
  • Camera bags and lots of other accessories;
  • Film and digital cameras (and accessories) across all major brands, and, of course;
  • Everything Nikon and Canon.

While the selection may be far from complete, it sure beats any mall-based store you can find. And everything is within walking distance.

    this so true!!! i went there to henry’s photo supply and i was shocked that their nikon d40 was being sold at 20k! it was selling at 26 sa sm north…. anyway, yeah its really a good place to be when you are looking for cheap, brand new, and original cameras.

    i just dont know how they are able to bring down the price to these levels… any ideas?

    have you asked if there’s any warranty with it? baka 20k sya pero walang warantty ok lnag yun. basta tignan mo muna kung may deffect para mapalitan agad.

    ako rin eh gusto ko mag tanong kung mura ba mga lens sa pinas/… kasi dito ako sa singapore nag canvass eh ganon din eh walnag pinagkaiba ang lens meron pa gna mas mura sa pinas kaysa dito sa singapore eh. naturingan pa namang mura ang mga electronics.

    price check lng sa sa D60 at D90 sa ngaun dyan.. plano kc akong bmli.. annong tindahan dyan ngbbigay ng magandang offer..:) mi possible bng bumaba mga price ng cam dyan ngaung palapit na ang pasko?

    Hey! I was wondering if people from Hidalgo also fix really old camera’s . My dad has this AWESOME Canon PRIMA zoom 105 with caption with a 35-105mm lens that i need to get fixed. The cover for the battery is missing, im a student so im on a tight budget. I really wanna use this camera. cleaning included, how much would that cost me?

    I just bought my first DSLR sa Hidalgo. A Canon EOS 1000D. P28K kuha ko. Sa Mayer Photo ako bumili. Pinakamura kasi sa kanila. Sa iba, P29.5K. Sa mall naman P32K++. Sa Canon naman P34,645. Ok naman sya kasi may 1year Canon warranty. May libre pang crumpler strap…ang ganda nung strap..padded.

    actually yung camera ko gift lang yun sa akin from my friend in malaysia, mura saw kasi yun duon kesa dito., kaya di ko na ask kung magkano ang actual price na bili nya.
    however ang mga kasama nuon is yung tripod, nikkon bag with straps, battery, charger, cd application, book manual, (body at lens yun syempre na ang lens is only 18-55mm)cord connector for cp to camera.
