Playoffs time once again, and we can't afford to stay home and watch NBA. Much to bosses' dismay, there are several ways lowly workers like us could watch basketball discreetly while still managing to get the work done.
As with my popular how to watch boxing ppv free article, the most reliable way would still be the use of sopcast. Since it is free, don't expect any 720p or HD resolutions. The pixels are manageable and the stream quality tolerable if your internet connection is decent.
download Sopcast and TVU. Both of these are free Peer to Peer or P2P software used to watch live TV. Some channels are of semi-permanent to fly by night once-event channels, so the hardest part is finding channel that has a decent bandwidth to spare.
1)Sopcast has worked fine twice in a row for both the Pacquaio vs Marquez fight and the Pacman versus De La Hoya fight. Usually, real actual channels will only go live and be viewable on actual few hours before the fight. It may be the same case for NBA games.

Do not bite into the program called Satellite TV for PC. It is is advertised as providing thousands of TV channels all pulled straight from the mega expensive satellite and cable. However, you don't get any real channels at all. The software is amateurish, the channels pretty rubbish and the price obscene ($49 and upwards!!) If you want to spend for software, then go for better alternatives offering more then buy Gogglebox TV for about $5 but dont buy Satellite TV for PC unless you want a massive dent in your wallet and an even bigger disappointment.
