Google Adsense Highest CPC words
22 August 2008
Curious as to how Google adsense pay their publishers? Myseoblog.net blogs about keywords with the highest paying yield. Google does not disclose to their publishers exactly how much web publishers like me get per every click our viewers make, as some words pay more than others.
It is no wonder that there are MFAs. or Made for Adsense websites devoted just for such topics to target and get such keywords, so that their page would come up in google searches. Users will then go to their pages, and they would get impressions and clicks.

Face to face with leading top pinoy blogger Abe Yuga Olandres
18 April 2008
His reaction to the title alone might best describe his humility, "I'm not the pinoy top blogger, Connie Veneracion is!" Connie blogs about cooking and sassy lawyering.
But we're here to talk about Abe Olandres, whose reach goes far beyond simple blogging. He currently has his hands full with various consulting gigs and seminar speeches and other ICT related businesses.
He hails from my same alma mater, and is actually friends with an acquaintance Bimbo Isidro, webmaster of Motorcycle Philippines and another known site. Like Finance Manila, Abe already had his hand in blogging as early as 2000, but only took full time professional blogging on April 2005.
New Alexa Ranking System Change
17 April 2008
Everyone’s favorite web statistics whipping boy Alexa has announced a major overhaul of how it compiles traffic figures. The biggest change is Alexa’s decision to drop
exclusive reliance on the Alexa toolbar for traffic data, with Alexa now aggregating data from “multiple sources” to compile its statistics and web rankings. As part of the move, historical data from Alexa is no longer available, with data now only going back 9 months (we presume calculated using the new methodology).
Alexa is given much flak in the web community because of the said unreliability of ranks, since its method of computation depends solely on computers which have the alexa toolbar installed.
How to add Digg in wordpress 2.5 compatible mode via Sociable plugin
12 April 2008
Digg emerged two years ago as an alternative where readers post links to stories from other Web sites that they think are newsworthy. The users hit a "digg" button if they like it or a "bury it" button if they don't like it. The most popular stories appear on the front page. Users are encouraged to comment on stories, and they can give comments a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down."
Usually, tech savvy geeks can edit their php in wordpress and insert these digg codes by themselves. However, some people prefer the easier way, via wordpress plugin. It's good that there is this plugin called sociable, with wordpress page at this link for download. Current Sociable Version 2.6.2 is last updated 3-31-2008, and is compatible with wordpress 2.2 to 2.5

Topblog link now fixed
26 March 2008
Ever since blogger Yuga from Yugatech sold his pinoytopblogs (at a "get it off my hands" price) due to too much maintenance headache problems it gave him, it never occurred to me that the link went dead because I had to update the code since their site changed hands. I thought it was just the usual site traffic problem they frequently experienced.
TopBlogs.com.ph (formerly PinoyTopBlogs) was created to measure the popularity of filipino blogs. They say, "We track the number of unique visitors and pageviews each blog gets. Every week we reset this number to zero, and we rank blogs according to the number of unique visitors they get in the week."
how to post pictures in forum
24 August 20071. First you need an outside image host.
You cannot link to images stored on your computer. People surfing the net trying to access the picture you're trying to show them won't be able to access the very PC in your own home, that's why you need to place the physical picture in an outside host whose computer server is turned on 24/7. That's the idea. The best place to look for image hosting is through your ISP. If they offer space, use it. . . you're already paying for it. If you need a source other than your ISP, try http://www.imageshack.us/ , or photobucket.com . It is more userfriendly to use those two, rather than your ISP.
Blogging for money
14 May 2007The word Blog comes from a play of words of Web Log. You log in some words and ideas in the web, hence weBLOG. People from third world countries like our very own Philippines find out that they can make more money from publishing blogs rather than working that nine to five minimum wage job.
A 350 peso daily minimum wage may gross you 7,000 pesos per month on a 20 day work month, and may net you even less than 5,000 pesos. Hence, this translates to only roughly $5 per day, including weekdays, as your blog is up 24/7. For this type of income, one has to approximately receive around 10,000 pageviews daily, thus producing out those random click thru ratios of visitors to clickers which actually rings the register.
