Re: Philippine National Bank (PNB)Got it...here is PNB's disclosure submitted yesterday.
We would like to inform the Exchange that we received today an advice from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) under Monetary Board Resolution No. 1270 dated August 2, 2012, approving the Plan of Merger and Articles of Merger of the Philippine National Bank (PNB) and Allied Banking Corporation (ABC), with PNB as the surviving entity. The merger, however, is still subject, among others, to the final approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
