Globe Tattoo sucks

I'm sorry globe, there's no other way to put this kindly, but your globe tattoo service sucks.  I used this a couple of times in my hours of need, which are of course places outside the office and outside the comforts of my own home and nada.  

All I got was network error.  So I hopped back to my smart 3g phone to browse for globe tattoo network error on google and got a lot of hits on the zero bandwidth downstream cursing their service.

How to unlock and jailbreak Iphone 3G to firmware 3.0

Ultrasn0w for iPhone 3G is ready!

1.Ensure that you already have downloaded and installed Itunes 8.2.1 for Windows for your new Iphone 3.0 to work.

2.Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
Download firmware 3.0 with filename iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw search for it here at google.

3.Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also
install Cydia, but not Icy as installing Icy may give you problems later on)
download redsn0w here

4.Run Cydia
Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy.  That last “o” is actually the number zero “0”! If you use the letter “o” you’ll get an error.

Download Iphone 3.0 firmware out for older iphones, unlock and jailbreak coming this weekend!

Great news, the Iphone 3.0 firmware for all older iphones is out, just in time before the "newer" 3gs is released next week!  The even greater news is that devteam, a known iphone unlocker group, already found the means to unlock 3.0 firmware and will release it this Friday. New unlocking software called UltraSn0w will be developed with QuickPWN, and even previously un-unlockable phones will be unlocked!  

The iPhone Dev Team was never able to unlock the older 02.30.03 baseband, but it will now be possible with this ultrasn0w tool.

New Iphone 3GS Review: Nothing new

At the Apple Developer Connection – Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 (WWDC), the New Iphone 3GS was announced.  S, they say, stands for speed.

The iPhone 3G S comes in two models: 16GB and 32GB, which doubles the capacity offered by the iPhone 3G. As usual, they sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen, offer 3G and WiFi connectivity, and have built-in GPS.
